Who’s Entertained By Bad Political Stunt Casting?

Jerry Doyle and I discuss my recent post venting about the poor decision by CBS’s THE GOOD WIFE to have presidential advisor Valerie Jarrett appear as herself on the show.  It cheapens news, politics and entertainment when each is used as if one is nothing more than an advertisement for the other.

We really have taken a shocking turn if the phrase “political theatre” can be applied indiscriminately to news anchors and politicians who are more anxious for TV face time or scoring points than doing their jobs.   Entertainment producers are looking to put butts in the seats – so any cachet they can find, they will use.  What is the excuse of political operatives or news personalities who are supposed to be more “serious”?

Tune in to our lively discussion where we talk everything from Benghazi, Congressional Hearings, the latest Secret Service scandal, whether media likes or hates Hillary and of course, bad political stunt casting…

We cover the waterfront.  Don’t miss it!
